Gentle community run pub with excellent facilities, a reasonably large gig space out the back and top bar staff.

A great evening at Black Fen Folk Club, airy with lots of space in the back hall, and a good welcoming atmosphere.

Always clean, nice staff and welcoming, once you find it. (Could be highlighted better) but understand neighborhood a bit quick to complain....

Really great facilities for parties and indie concerts, with full bar and friendly staff, They're making a good effort to open out to more in community, after being a member-only sports and social club for many years. Snooker room upstairs, pool in bar. Quiz and tombola several times a year. A hidden gem.

The Beers was good a nice small selection, the cost was reasonable. The decor was a little dated. Lots of full size snooker tables upstairs. Could do more to sell itself.
