Had a lovely Xmas meal there for the family yesterday it was fantastic afternoon made to feel special by the staff and fantastic price well worth the experience would recommend to anyone

Just like to say, myself and about 40 other young lads, on a Job Creation Prog, cleared all the trees, and made all the greens, bunkers and fairways, it was done in 1976, I was staying with the Hughes Family at Clifton Bottom Road, I stayed with them for 10 months, I drank in the King William and had my first game of Bar Billiards, we never had them in Liverpool. Excellent, haven't played much during the last 3 years and just starting to get back in to the game. I took my 7 year old son for 9 holes and he loved it. Friendly staff and service in the clubhouse/restaurant, will be visiting again next week.

An enjoyable and challenging course especially having not played for about 15 years. Could you manage 9 holes then went in to clubhouse for a couple of pints served by a very charming lady...

Greens are very very poor. Fairways not to bad. Tee boxes very poor at best looks like it hasn't been looked after or maintained for a long time. There was no sand in the "bunkers"!! The £5 for 18 holes was definitely the maximum amount I'd pay to play this course but I'd never play here again just not a golf course of any kind in my opinion. The coffee was OK though. Picture is of a "bunker" which contained not a single grain of sand the photo makes the green look OK but its just a good cam...
