Milngavie Folk Club

A wonderful, cosy,warm and most welcoming forlk club with a most pleasant crowd who know their music and appreciate both the main artists and the warm ups. Last Saturday was Robin Williamson night and boy did he excel! A trurly memorable evening that both my son and I loved and will never forget. We also met a group of older fans... Jason and Margaret do a wonderful job bringing great acts to Milngavie. Such a great wee place to get together with friends to enjoy brilliant music from a wide and varied genre such as Blue Rose Code, Ok Amigos, Gill Jackson, Rab Noakes, Edwina Hayes and many many more. Keep up the the great work Jason and Margaret. The folk club is a huge asset to the village.

The folk club meets regularly. The venue is however correctly titled 'The Fraser Centre'. It is a not for profit community facility mainly catering for the senior sector. It is however used to host many different community and private events.

Always a good turn out great bands. Everything you need food drink and toilets if you need them.
