Can't praise the proprietor Katie enough. She is lovely and is a fantastic, patient teacher. The course was enjoyable and I was thrilled with the results. She is a very talented lady whether you want her to do the job or to learn how to do it yourself with her guidance. Thank you Katie!

I don't know where to start really other than to say I enjoyed every singe minute of my 3 hour weekly Wednesday evenings. Katie goes above and beyond with explaining literally everything. I thoroughly enjoyed restoring an old chair and bringing new life to it. Katie's knowledge is incredible; the sessions are fun, informal and great to get a bit of "me" time. Recently did a one day course with Katie where I brought my own chair and she gave great instruction on a variety of traditional upholstery techniques that I’d requested guidance on. The day was really enjoyable and it’s definitely helped me develop my skills. She has everything you need in her studio and there is free parking. I have been back a few times to do different projects and I loved every minute of it. I can’t wait for my next project and to come back and do some more.. I highly recommend the courses with Katie. I originally booked on a four week course to do a complete refurbishment on an antique chair. I enjoyed it so much and learnt such a lot I booked another four weeks with another project. I am soon to start a third item! Katie is extremely knowledgeable in furniture restoration and reupholstery. It’s very satisfying to give new life to old furniture under her tutelage and I can’t think of a more enjoyable, environmentally friendly way to spend a day! ...
