A ridiculous policy of not informing people who have booked if the course is closed, not even a courtesy email. Spoke to someone who said ""well it was on the website and Facebook page, you should have checked it".

Played here in mid sept 22 - first time and while perfectly okay most areas look like they could do with some investment. On the plus side the course is challenging, interesting and fairly long. Negatives - greens were in poor condition, bunkers were shocking (essentially concrete with some weeds and the odd bit of sand) and it was tough to tell where fairways began and ended as they were cut so long (not sure if this was allowing recovery post drought). At £20-25 green fee it’s probably wort...

My first time here as I'm working in the area. It's a fabulous layout; plenty of space for those wayward shots but plenty to challenge the low handicappers. It has lakes, ponds and streams and set in beautiful countryside. However, the bunkers need some sand, the greens need treating and the tees need some attention. On the plus side, it's very reasonable. If you can balance the cost with some of the negatives, you'll really enjoy what is a great layout in a scenic setting.

First visit here in a year plus and you can really see the difference in the course. Last time out it was in a terrible state, but now the fairways and greens were in really good condition, and great to see the greenkeepers out tending the course regularly. Very happy to see the improvement as the course now provides great value and a good challenge. (Bunkers could do with an overhaul though)

Played last week and it was basically unplayable. Did not enjoy much of the round at all. Most fairways were mud baths and some you couldn’t even walk on to play your ball lol. Definitely not worth the £33 I was charged.
