Mellor Dog School

Had mine and my puppies first training session, wow there was a lot to take in, some changes to be made. Indie loved the free play with the other puppies and went thru the tunnel on the agility. The training session pases quickly as the pups build confidence on the agility course, socialise with free play and then there is the training itself. Looking forward to our next visit.

Freddy and I have had so much help from Haley, Phylis, Fiona and Daniel - especially when he chased sheep! The trainers are friendly and approachable and the dogs love it! I can certainly recommend this training school.

We have been with Mellor Dog school since Mar 2021. We went for a one to one to start with. That one to one help me and my wife have a lot better understanding of our dog and was able to show us the best way to enable us to make sure we better communicated with her as well as having a more happy puppy. Ever since then we have been coming to the puppy lessons and recently we have started the gun dog lessons with our puppy and she has love every minute and is so happy when we go.

I have been taking my GSD to mellor dog school since he was safely allowed to socialise with other dogs. Nearly two years later we are still going. My dog has learnt so much and has progressed through the classes. He has been taught by every trainer at some point all of which have been very proffesional. We have never had a problem with any other dogs ,infact my dog has socialised so much he is very comfortable and relaxed around any dog!

Having trained there for 3 years, I can tell you the wealth of knowledge of the experienced instructors Simon and Hayley, who use their many years of dog training experience to help me. I have seen a massive difference in my 8 year old springer, on the first lesson she buggered off for an ice cream! Now She is on shoots every week beating and picking up perfectly!
