Medley Sailing Club is the friendliest and most welcoming sailing club I have ever been a member of. The sailing is a river sailors delight. If you want racing then it is of a high standard and competitive. If like me the fun of sailing is just being on the water then you are equally welcome. It is an all age club with a good social element. Just over a mile from Oxford makes it perfect.

This is the most friendly, open, inclusive and welcoming sailing club I had the pleasure of visiting or being a member of. The original review here by GobbledeGook couldn't be further from the truth, and is from a serial negative reviewer (look at his/her reviews elsewhere). In total contrast, what the other reviewers to date have said about Medley Sailing Club is so much more accurate - I couldn't say it better. Thoroughly recommended for first timers and more experienced sailors.

Very friendly bunch of people, great location and all just a few minutes from the centre of Oxford. Good for relaxed, social sailing and/or racing. There are some very good sailors here, but the racing isn't taken too seriously.

Best Oxford sailing club. Challenging, fascinating dinghy sailing. A warm and inclusive welcome will be found at this family centered club. The amazing location is a rural idyll ridiculously close to the city centre.

Friendliest sailing club on the upper Thames. For the novice in an emergency the bank is never too far away, for the racing enthusiast the compact waters bring tight racing. Home club of a few national champions and their boats.
