Mayfield Park Bowling Club

I visited here to buy some plants at the nursery and discovered a great little park and woodland setting.The park is very peaceful and quiet and one of those places that may never seem crowded.I really enjoyed the woodland walk on a Saturday afternoon after a week working on a building site.It is a hot day and escaping the mid-day sun was an unexpected bonus.It is so nice to find somewhere new to explore.

Great park with lots of things for the kids to play on

A beautiful place to walk your dog, or just walk yourself 😉, it has got a few ornamental lawns and the woodland with a river and paths. There is a bowling club and the parking here as well as the great playground for the kids.

Great place to take kids with a big playground area, also great for dog walking or just a walk in general. You sometimes get events happening here throughout the year which is well displayed and advertised when there is. Perfect for any age and can also take picnic down there if you want.

Well kept and within the beautiful groungs and gardens..
