Matt Mcevely Guitar Lessons

I've been having Electric Guitar lessons with Matt for nearly 3 years and cannot recommend him highly enough. Matt is not a magician, however, if you put the time and effort in to your playing/practice, he will teach you what you need to turn yourself into the guitar player you want to be. Matt is an incredibly skilled guitarist and an even better teacher. His lessons strike the perfect balance of being both fun and educational. Concepts and techniques that once felt off-limits to me (like complex barre chords, arpeggios and playing solos) have now become so much more achievable through his tuition. I especially appreciate how willing he is to tailor his lessons to the music tastes of each of his students. I would highly recommend him.

Matt is an amazing and informative guitar teacher who really puts the time and effort into tailoring the practice session to his students musical interests. This makes his lessons impactful and fun because they’re more relevant to your interests and the goals you have set. Practice doesn’t feel like practice anymore. Highly recommended.

Matt is an awesome teacher. He first understands what you want to achieve and then fits the lessons around that. Extremely talented and has a wealth of knowledge. Above all else, he's just a really nice guy who you can get on with instantly - That is essential when you are trying to learn and progress. Could not fault Matt's lessons and teaching at all, I would recommend to anyone. I was taught both remotely via Skype and in person and the level of quality was amazing throughout.

I'm a gigging guitar player that had got into a bit of a rut and wanted to break out and expand my playing. Matt spent sometime listening to what I wanted to add to my playing and came up with a lesson plan to help me. Matt has managed to apply more theory to my playing and I'm now booked in to keep growing my playing. It's never too late and Matts easygoing yet in-depth method makes things really easy to understand. I cannot recommend him enough.
