  • Great Place to Go fishing especially if you are in the area , well worth a day being spend on those lakes , Picture Dates 26/02/2023

  • Went to marshside on the 11th November and fished scroggins lake arrived at 7 o clock it wasn't long after that the bird scarer started going off this noise is like somebody standing very near to you with a shot gun .this noise went of between 10 and 15 minutes all day made fishing for me unbearable had to leave a lot earlier than i wanted . Icould understand every hour .this is a loverly lake but i will not be going back until they have sorted this problem .

  • Two nice lakes with the specimen lake (Homershams lake), being the first you arrive at. There aren't any amenities on site apart from a simple portaloo which is relatively clean. Scroggins lake is the match lake and is a fair distance from Homershams lake about a 2 or 3 minute drive further along the track. Some lovely fish to be had out of both lakes. Peg 1 on the specimen lake is also suitable for wheelchair access. All in all a good fishery with lovely surroundings

  • Nice location for fishing in summer . It's exposed to winds in the winter . It's a day ticket water . Night fishing needs to be pre booked. Like many of these small day ticket water it's Overfished . But you can still catch some decent fish with a bit of water craft . Often the carp are pressured into the margins where reed cover offers respite in daytime. High wind will bring carp out to feed . Dull days too. bright sun and high temps makes them sleepy.

  • Awesome little lake great day out also some stunning fish.
