  • Great dojo, good people, work hard and the rewards will come. Classes in jiu jitsu and kick boxing for adults and children, would highly recommend.

  • Took my grandson 3 times a week for 4 weeks. Then we told the owner Mark we were withdrawing him at this stage, because too many children messing about, no discipline & an ignorant woman who takes up every seat with her bags. He told us shes been a pain like that for 4 years and it would get sorted. Haha what a joke!!!!! The next lesson we were barred. My grandson was in tears all evening. So beware of this club .If you don't fit in with the gang you'll get nothing for your money.

  • Excellent gym! My partner and my little boy absolutely love it! My boy has been going since February 2016 and his confidence has rocketed thanks to the amazing senseis! He has been given various awards for hard work which have contributed to this and the senseis are extremely patient with every student and provide them 1-1 training when necessary to help them reach their full potential in a safe way! I can't get my partner out of there because he loves it that much lol

  • The review above couldn't be more different to my experiences at the Marksman Gym. I've been attending for getting on for 3 years and take part in both Ju-Jitsu and Batto-Do classes (the latter being taught for free to all members). The classes, despite being robust (it IS a martial arts venue after all) are fun, utterly genuine and taught with great depth. Bring a bit of effort and sense of humour. Everything else takes a bit of time, but is worth every second!

  • Well, it seems that Marksman Cobra is a cherry-picking Academy. Avoid it like the plague if god forbid your 5-year-old child is bit slower than the others in picking, they won't spend a sec and will give up just in two lessons. What do you expect from a 5-year-old on his 2nd class? Backflips? We decided to enrol our son to enhance his confidence and physical skills, it turned out to be the worst choice ever as i was told just in two lesson that my child was slow in picking up and that they do ...
