Marine North Berwick

Beautiful, historic, luxury hotel with gorgeous sea views. Food was lovely all 3 times we had it (afternoon tea, dinner and breakfast), staff members were very attentive, especially Neil in reception and everyone downstairs in the spa. The place has great spa treatments and lovely spa area with even an indoor/outdoor pool. Convenient free parking and proximity to town centre is another additional bonus.

The staff are exceptional, which makes the hotel exceptional. Their kindness and attentiveness did not go unnoticed. Fabulous dining in 'The Lawn' with top tier service. Decor was tasteful and made the place feel warm and welcoming. The spa, albeit small, had every facility expected along with a substantial sized pool. Finally the location made dog walking a breeze...minutes from the beach with Yellowcraigs in walking distance. A fabulous wee break away. Can't wait to go again.

We had an excellent 4 day stay at the beginning of January. The rooms are spacious and our bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is cooked Scottish or/ and continental breakfast. The continental breakfast had an excellent selection of pastries, breads, hams, fresh fruit salad, freshly made pancakes etc The staff are lovely; attentive and polite. The staff were absolutely fantastic - big shout out to Rosie who did my treatment tailored it to my required needs. Also massive mention to Aimee Dale who was On the Spa reception, made me fell welcome with an extremely friendly smile, always cracked a joke whilst i waited and had great knowledge of all the treatments available along with product knowledge.

Beautiful room (albeit a tad hot, even with window open, no way to turn heating down as radiators not on, but still room was very hot). Stunning views. Fabulous location. Exceptional members of staff, very attentive and took their time to be approachable and friendly. VERY doggy friendly and fantastic atmosphere throughout. We'll most definitely be back!
