I started piano lessons on retirement aged 69, having previously learned from the age of 7 to12. In my professional life I had been fortunate in that I have had superb teachers both here in the UK and as a Post Grad student in America. After having lessons from a few piano teachers I started with Margaret in February 2020 and she has been an inspiration and ranks among the finest of teachers that I have encountered in my professional life. She is patient, good humoured and encouraging. She ha...

Margaret was an inspirational piano teacher, taking me all the way through to Grade 8 and beyond. Ever supportive and patient (with me she needed to be!), Margaret encouraged me to persevere and I found myself quickly growing in confidence. Piano lessons were always the highlight of my week, and I can't recommend highly enough!

Being an adult learner I was nervous about taking my first piano lessons but Margaret has been a fantastic teacher. She is supportive, patient and encouraging. Her extensive teaching experience is obvious as she always seems to have a trick or a tip for tackling a difficult part of the music. She's pushed me much further than I imagined I could go in a short amount of time. Margaret is a brilliant pianist and teacher. She has been teaching me since I was 7 years old and now, 10 years later, I have achieved my grade 8. She brings her enthusiasm and passion to the lessons making them fun and exciting. She's supportive, patient and will push you to the best of your ability. She organises regular pupil's concert to allow students to perform which I think is great and has personally really boosted my confidence. I highly recommend Margaret.

Margaret has been teaching our daughter since she was in Year 1, she has a very positive and encouraging attitude. Our daughter always comes away wanting to do more and even at times when she hasn't, Margaret has proven to be a very patient teacher, she has allowed our daughter learn at her own pace. We have and would recommend Margaret without hesitation to anyone seeking piano lessons.
