Manu Pontes - Guitar Lessons

Manu is a brilliant guitarist! He’s also a sympathetic and patient tutor, who first started tutoring guitar several years ago. He plays not only guitar accompaniments but also spectacular guitar riffs!

Manu is first and foremost an incredible guy, with a great perspective on life. This carries over into his ability to teach and encourage learning the guitar. I was lucky enough to hear him busking in Kings Cross Underground and vowed that if I ever saw him again I would ask him if he offered lessons. I was lucky enough to do so, and ended up working with him to get better at the guitar. Thanks Manu, all the best!

Manu was not only a brilliant teacher but a wonderful guy! He was very kind, patient and knowledgeable. I came from watching guitar tutorials, knowing some chords and had little technique, and came to Manu wanting to understand the theory/technique behind it all - he knew everything there is to know. 11/10 would recommend :)

Manu is a superb player and a fantastic teacher. The teaching environment, at his home in Colliers Wood, was very welcoming and friendly. He was able to tailor to my personal needs of being able to learn theory and understanding how everything fits together. My guitar skills improved dramatically with his methods and I would highly recommend him to anybody wishing to start playing guitar or looking to improve upon their current technique.
