The weather had been bad the previous night, and the course was soaked. The fairways had not been cut for a few days. The only thing I enjoyed, was the views across the valley over Lulingstone Castle.
Given the conditions thought we would try the Nine hole short course.
As was expected there were muddy places but generally the fairways were pretty good given that they can't be cut.
The great surprise was the greens which had been cut and rolled leaving them very puttable.
As always the bar and cafe were available for the post round chat.
Very wide, undulating fairway. Well maintained greens.
Need to always watch out for strollers popping out from nowhere.
Great atmosphere and nice staff
