Luke is a great teacher and I highly recommend his lessons. Not only is he very knowledgeable about his craft as a musician but he also has a genuine interest in listening to his students' interests and prepare suitable material. It's a pity I couldn't continue having lessons with him. All in all a terrific choice as a tutor.

Luke taught piano to my son John for six years from when he first started high school to the week before he left for university aged 18. Luke's a hugely talented musician and helped John get A's for his Nat5 and Higher Music. But more importantly they built a great relationship - Luke was focused on the music John was interested in learning about, and left him with a great love of music. Luke is the best there is. Any skill level, any style, Luke can be your guide. He's a true music lover and that passion comes through when he's teaching. You can learn loads from simply having a chat with him. His teaching is not tied to any one orthodox path, allowing for extremely flexible, specific, and effective learning. Definitely recommend.

Luke is an excellent piano teacher. He's really patient while teaching and he's a real easy going guy. Things in music that are tedious and annoying he makes fun and engaging in a really comfortable environment. Absolutely would recommend to anyone who wants to start learning the piano!
