Charming studio with thoughtful hands-on tuition tailored to individuals with a maximum of two people per class. I did the Mini Course and (as a complete novice) am thrilled with the three dishes I made. Lottie and Mel are wonderful potters and have many beautiful handmade ceramics for sale and also make to order.

I booked in as a complete novice in for the mini course over 3 sessions and Potty took me through each step with patience and care until I had 3 credible pots to take home. It was fascinating and inspiring to watch Lotty working next to me producing beautiful mugs and bowls which are for sale. A great place to pick up an original gift. It was such a lovely experience I will definitely go back and do the rolling sessions.

I booked onto a mini beginner's course because I had always wanted to try pottery - it's safe to say I'm now hooked! The studio is so sweet and cosy, just a lovely place to be. I've been lucky to have 1-1 sessions with Mel, who has been a brilliant teacher and good fun. I highly recommend giving it a go, it's really great value for money and I'm so pleased I found the studio.

We had a 2 hour beginner session with Mel (Potty). It was such an enjoyable experience. The studio is lovely (with some beautiful pottery to buy) and Potty a very enthusiastic, fun and engaging teacher. A great find, would highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Lovely little pottery shop and studio. I took a taster class with Potty where I learned to make bowls using a pottery wheel. It was quite fun (and a bit stressful, it’s a lot harder than it looks!!) and would highly recommend it.
