Come and learn the relaxing art of cross stitch!
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll create a beautiful, personalized cross stitch card perfect for any occasion.
This class will guide you through the basics of cross stitch, from threading your needle and understanding patterns to mastering the simple "x" stitch. We'll cover essential techniques, including starting and finishing your threads, keeping your tension even, and working with different colours. All materials are provided, including a pattern, Aida cloth, embroidery floss, a needle, and a blank card. You’ll leave with a finished card and the confidence to continue cross stitching at home. (if you don't manage to finish the card in class, you can take the materials and instructions to complete at home)

Who Can Attend?
This workshop is suitable for adults and children aged 8 and above. No prior experience is necessary! Children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult. Cross stitch is a wonderful activity for all ages and skill levels, offering a fun and rewarding way to create beautiful, handmade gifts and decorations.

This is an in person class.
Tea, coffee, squash and some snacks will be available. You may wish to bring your own cup. If you need to bring lunch, then please bring a packed lunch. There is a small fridge in the studio.
There are some shops around the corner if you wish to purchase food on the day.
Children over the age of 8 and accompanied by a paying adult are more than welcome to join this class.
There is some visitor parking available on site in bays 42-52. There is an overflow carpark opposite the shops on Margetson Crescent.
