Long Melford Football Club

Beautiful place, it has only been open 18 months as it is now. Almost everything in here is brilliant from the bar right through to the facilities. Bit of a rough ride getting down to it but worth it. This was my very first visit and I wouldn't mind going back for another show. As a live music venue it is quite small but with that you get a very personal feel to the events. The staff are great and very helpful, just lacks a food service but other wise an awesome experience.

The new club house is such an improvement and an impressive space. Very bright and great facilities. Hope it is used by the community as it deserves to do well.

If you fancy an unpaid job, as a part time ball boy, then come along to Stoneylands, when Kirkley and Pakefield are the visitors, and stand behind the home goal. Their wastefulness will give you plenty of exercise, and earn you the Long Melford goalkeeper's gratitude... At least until half time. Spend the rest of your time trying to avoid engaging with angry parents, obviously trying to live out their unrealised dreams, through their unfortunate, but not untalented offspring.
