  • Rude and untrained staff, bad coffee, the place looks like a ruin on the inside. Don’t bother… get your drink from the Mill canteen literally next door where they’re nice and they know what they’re doing.

  • What a gem. Lovely little clubhouse with all the original oak finishings, and a recent revamp has also opened the woods-facing front to attract a bit of coffee and beer trade to earn a bit to keep prices down but really enhances the overall aspect. Mostly its an uncrowded little place where you can grab a pint or a sandwich and keep a locker. It is run on a shoestring and an amazing bargain, yet has real charm, has real antiquity (third oldest in the country) yet is entirely unpretentious....

  • On their window says -Great Coffee… let me tell you. This drink they call ‘great coffee’ wasn’t even close to a coffee let alone great coffee. I have ordered oat flat white to be told that they can add cold oat milk only 😬 ok fair enough if they use push button machine and only do normal milk as warm milk but what I have received didn’t even taste like coffee! Flat white is usually small strong coffee and I have received big cup with water/milk tasting drink.You couldn’t even smell a coffee,...

  • Rude golfers, deliberately hitting balls at walkers and dogs, ordering people to be quiet. Need to remember that it's a common first and walkers have priority - no matter their sense of self importance. Response to owner - on the day that I was shouted at and told to shut up because it was a golf course I did email to explain what had happened and why I was annoyed but didn't get any reply

  • You'll get over the fact you have to wear a red top after you realise the course is in the middle of a public park... Quite annoying really with so many people nonchalantly strolling across the fairway (lots of paths across the course with bikes, prams, dogs, kids etc..). Feels like they should be the ones wearing red so you know who not to hit, most don't understand fore either.. Anyway aside of from the obvious flaws, it's actually a pretty neat course..
