I completed the Foundation Course in Acting for Theatre at LSDA. Exceptional school to start with, especially if you want to taste how the acting life will be. It's a small school so the Principal Jake Taylor cares about every single detail. It's a great playground to start exploring, a very safe environment to free your feelings and an amazing support from all the teacher who are actor currently working in the industry. So no retired actors who lost contact with what happens nowadays and the...

I studied at this school in the advanced program and I am very happy with my experience. There was a family feel and I felt very supported while the teachings were of high quality. Some of our teachers also taught at some of the big drama schools and we were lucky to have them with us. The staff was always helpful and responsive. The year I spent there was one of the best times in my life and it prepared me very well for the demands of a professional acting career. I would recommend it to any...

LSDA is a wonderful drama school, because it’s small you really feel like you are being seen and have support relevant to your personal progress. The year I spent there was one of the best of my life. The teachers are working actors and bring their own experiences to the classes, and the wide range of subjects covered really gives you a great breadth of knowledge and experience in the performing arts. I got to perform in some great fringe theatres whilst learning there and work with amazing w...

I graduated from LSDA in 2009. I would highly recommend the advanced acting diploma to anyone wanting a career in acting. All teachers are working in the industry and give you real tools and skills to succeed. It's a small school which means you become part of a close community. They care about each students individual development. I still feel like I can contact Jake if I need any advice or help.

I spent an incredible 2 years at this school. The classes are small so you get a lot of one-on-one attention, and the teaching is of high standard. All the tutors currently work in the film, TV and theatre industry so you receive first-hand insight and advice. The principal, Jake, is welcoming and always available to help. LSDA has given me invaluable knowledge and experience to grow in the performing arts industry and has had a long-lasting positive impact on my career. I use what I learnt t...
