I had a really great experience during my time at the LFA. I came in with minimal experience in filmmaking, but thanks to the fantastic tutors, great classes and state of the art equipment I now feel much more confident and even more committed to pursuing a career in film. If you are looking for a short course that can show you a whole range of aspects of the filmmaking process and will really push you to do your best, this is the one to go for.

Had a great experience studying filmmaking at the London Film Academy and especially enjoyed all my interactions with the experienced and knowledgeable tutors and visiting tutors. Pleased with the film I made as a part of this course and really enjoyed the process. Feel confident and enthusiastic now to get started on my own film projects. If you're looking for short film courses in London, I can highly recommend the LFA.

I've just completed a 4 week intensive course in filmaking at LFA and I am very happy that I took that decision. The school was always available to help anyway they could when we were asking for extra hours or days (during the weekends) to work on ho...

I also know from other students who already had some ideas coming into the course that they feel more confident about taking...

I come from a documentary background. I think I chose to do documentary because I felt film was too far from me. Too difficult. But after this four-week filmmaking certificate course, I feel maybe it's time to start writing down all the stories/dreams in my mind. Every week we focus on different parts. First is script and storyboarding. Second is directing and camera operation. I am talking about the professional cinematic camera Arri Alexa here. Third week shooting! Tough week, but really bu...
