Loam - Pottery Studio & Art Courses

Highlight of my week! Jack has extensive knowledge, along with excellent teaching techniques. He is enough hands whilst allowing us time to find our way and make our own mistakes which is essential for learning. Awesome setting and an amazing learning environment. Support for all processes. Annabelle is a great asset too!

Highly recommended!! I did the taster pottery session and had such a brilliant time. Jack led the workshop with such professionalism, kindness, gentle humour, and skill. He made sure we were all very well looked after and came away with a feeling of achievement. Despite my many mistakes! The small group size also makes it feel like a very personal experience. And in a lovely environment. Hope to carry on with more sessions in the future!

Last week was the first 4 days of the 5 day course (the last being a glazing day in July) and it was absolutely phenomenal. Jack is a fantastic teacher and extremely patient - something he needed an abundance of when teaching me! A great introduction to pottery and I shall certainly be back to do another course in the future.

A wonderful few hours spent on the “taster session “ last month. Jack provides a warm welcome to his studio and he is a very personable professional. He is incredibly passionate about his love of pottery and this is evident during the course. All of our group were given his time in equal measure and his patience was superb. Fantastic afternoon!!! Bought as a Christmas gift for my mum who also had a great first time on a potters wheel! Perfect beginners taster session for anyone who would like a go, Jack was a great tutor! Looking forward to seeing the fired results :)
