Little Crumpets - Before & After School Care

Little Crumpets is a wonderful safe place for our older son to go before and after school. He is welcomed into a lovely homely environment where he has the most delicious cooked meals, an array of entertainment, and feels comfortable to be himself amongst the LC gang! This set up enables us to be sane working parents in London. Clare and her team are amazing with what they do every day. Little Crumpets runs like clockwork!

I cannot recommend Little Crumpets highly enough. The standard of care is matched only by the amazing meals provided. Both our boys go and both have made good friends. Time and transport! are often against us when we have to collect but they are as understanding of the parents situation as she is the children's which is hugely reassuring and helpful. I also love the fact somebody always has something to celebrate- balloons on the door seem to be a permanent fixture !

My little boy has been going to Little Crumpets since he started reception in 2018. I could not be happier with the setting. It’s a real home from home. The food is fresh, varied and tasty and Lucinda and her team treat the children like they are they own. They are so caring. The children do all sorts of fun activities so they are never bored. Often my little boy doesn’t want to leave! I would recommend Little Crumpets unreservedly and feel so lucky my little boy had a place there.

My daughter has been going to Crumpets for four and a half years and my son joined her when he started Primary School, too. It is a great solution to the problem of having to leave for work at 7:30, but the kids' school not starting 'til 9. Clare and her team are so helpful. They are flexible and accommodating when you are running late or need to ask for help with unusual pick-up times after school trips, for example. My son was initially going to be a temporary “Little Crumpet” as Clare was helping us out as a favour. Little did we know, nearly 3 years on, we are still there. For me, I immediately felt Clare and Doreen were trustworthy, caring and were respected by the children they care for. These values were important for me and Ive never been so relaxed about my child's care environment.
