Leicester Rowing Club

Excellent Rowing Club and very well organised and enjoyable regatta. Was a little chilly out on the water this evening!

Unusual place, because of where it is, very friendly people, great watching the rowers compete, fantastic club house, good food without a huge mark up thouraly enjoyed the day

We hired this hall for a celebration. Rob the owner was very easy to correspond with and answered small or large queries. Access to the venue to set up was very ample and was no extra cost. The volunteers who served the bar on the night were lovely. Guest were very complementary of the venue and the views from the large windows looking out to the river are beautiful. We hired this venue for our engagement party & we couldn't have been happier. The venue itself was reasonably priced & substantially larger then it's outside appearance would have you believe. The rowing clubs bar is well stocked and competitively priced compared to other local bars & pubs. Unfortunately the bar doesn't have pump facilities, so all their drinks are from bottles, but despite this, you don't pay over the odds for your drinks like you'd expect from private venues such as this. ...

The club has a great boathouse with a nice large courtyard/ car parking area. The changing rooms have a nice vintage aesthetic and are clean and spacious. There is also lovely area upstairs filled with pictures, which was used for food service during the Leicester Regatta.
