  • A brilliant club for both beginners and more experienced beekeepers

  • Leeds beekeepers are really welcoming and friendly, real bee enthusiasts, and the courses they offer are hugely enjoyable and informative. I hope to keep bees one day.

  • Awesome beekeeping association. Great fun to meet on a Wednesday evening in season (April to September) between 6.30pm and 9pm to talk about honey bees and have a nice drink with a biscuit. Membership includes BBKA insurance. Learn to keep honey bees at this association with courses running through out the year, you can buy beekeeping supplies and locally reared honey bees from the onsite stores. The site has a teaching apiary, an association hut and the association stores.

  • Great place for swarm removal just give them a ring and they will do the rest and the bees go to a new home also love the observation hive when it's got bees in now me and my husband have our own bees and I enjoy helping him look after them my husband has had fantastic training and loves to help the new starters

  • Really friendly association. Excellent training, superb master classes and really good discounted beekeeping supplies at the shop. Visit the website for a whole range of courses and what to do if you have a swarm. They also offer talks to schools and other clubs (beavers, WI etc). They can advise on if you want to setup apiaries in schools and on commercial premises. If you wish to take up beekeeping as an hobby this is the association for you.
