  • There'd be a much better relationship between boaters and rowers if there was a little less entitlement to the river from both parties. The shouting on the water before 8am and crashing into boats and then rowing off as though nothing happened tests my patience though.

  • Nice place for a bacon roll and a cappuccino after a long walk

  • Excellent club, great sports facilities and training programmes coupled with bars and function hall, good Caffè, full catering option in a beautiful riverside setting. An oasis in London's East.

  • Gem of a place for an excellent Sunday roast. Perfectly cooked veggies, and meat (Pork belly was particularly tender). Roast tatties were a little lacking, but the rest more than made up for it. Very reasonable prices, and friendly atmosphere top things off nicely.

  • We had Sunday lunch here and loved the upstairs area. It's a place with lots of soul, with relaxed family & kid friendly vibes and lots of good views over the canal. Roasts were super tasty, and everyone seemed friendly. A stones throw from the edge of Springfield Park :)
