Laithwaite'S Wine School

Just finished the Level 1 WSET (web) course. A big thank you to Guy, the team and the other students on this course. Each evening was both interesting, educational and fun! It was an ideal, easy route into the world of wine qualifications. If anyone is looking for a Christmas or birthday gift for a wine fan - then you could do a lot worse than this!

The WSET L1 online course was really enjoyable. Guy Watson was thoroughly knowledgeable and used a number of techniques to help us learn the content. I'm glad I took the course and feels like it has added a depth to my enjoyment of wine!

Had a great experience, with a well planned out day and very knowledgeable course leader - learnt a lot, had fun and also got a WSET qualification out of it at the end. What's not to like?

Brilliantly taught. I recently took the WSET level 2 course, held online with samples sent out to us in advance. It was really well taught by Guy, who made the course much more interesting than just having to go over all the varieties and regions repeatedly. Even though it was online, the course was interactive and engaging throughout with additional resources to help ensure you are covering off all the information in time. My thanks to Guy Watson for an excellent WSET L3 course. It was both rigorous and very interesting. I learned a great deal and now have a much more adventurous approach to wine. I regret not doing the course earlier. One positive is that a number of us still meet to taste and talk about wines.
