Kushi Adventures

Due to last minute planning on our part, we didn't reach out to Kushi until 9pm the night before we wanted to canoe Loch Ness. Russell, the owner, connected with us the next morning early and was more than willing to work with us despite our limiting time-frame, lack of cell-phone, and geography. Russell was a great and flexible (we don't mean stretching!) person to rent a canoe from. He was very knowledgeable and gave great advice about canoeing the Great Glen Trail. Russell really knows where to go to see the hidden parts of Scotland, from places to canoe to kayak to walk. I had a lovely afternoon canoeing down the Beauly River with him, and felt safe as well as adventurous. He knows where the interesting birds (ospreys and peregrine falcons) nest, and we were lucky enough to see an osprey. Also, another much larger bird of prey that I hope was an eagle! I would recommend getting in touch with Kushi Adventures if you want to enjoy yourself.

Russell and the team at Kushi adventures are a very experienced, safety conscious and capable outfit. Having been on a number of courses with them I would recommend them to everyone. Brilliant.
