Kuotos Swim

Ian is a fantastic teacher! Our 3yr old granddaughter has been having lessons for a while now and it’s great to see her confidence improving each week. He’s good at making fun games that are actually teaching important technique and skills. She trusts him completely which is really important for building up the confidence in the water.

I stumbled upon Ian by accident. A local elite triathlon coach recommended him as he has done for a number of athletes he oversees. Ian has vast experience in competitive swimming and water polo but more important than this he has genuine talent as a teacher and coach. My journey started with lessons for myself (middle aged mum) with Ian at Stone House Hotel. I just wanted to be a better swimmer, Ian took on board what i wanted to achieve and this is what we work towards. Ian also now teaches my 2 children age 11 and 4. First time and my youngest swam unaided. You can tell Ian has his own children from the way he engages with them and makes lessons enjoyable. The hotel is quiet and friendly with ample free parking.

My two children come to Kuotos at Stone and Ian is absolutely amazing with them, making their swimming lessons so much fun they actually can't wait to go. My daughter had 16 months of lessons elsewhere and never took swimfin off. On her first lesson with Ian, fin was off and she was swimming. Blown away!! 100% recommended 👍👍

Ian has been fantastic with my 9year old twins on their swimming technique and stamina, he’s fun, engaging and educational - clearly explaining what is required. Having been to other swim schools in the area, the twins have learnt more and developed a stronger stroke in weeks with Ian than in the years with others. No hesitation in recommending Kuotos swim.
