Koning Fighting Academy

Moved here from another bjj club. Helton was very welcoming when I first enquired and invited me down for a free trial session and joined shortly after. Helton is a super nice dude and extremely knowledgeable. The atmosphere he's achieved is great and everybody down is just as nice and approachable! Best training decision I've ever made and intend on being with the club for the long haul!!

I’ve been training at Koning fighting academy for 6 months now and can honestly say it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done 💯 Helton is brilliant at what he does and a good teacher. Koning is a great place to train for people of all ages and levels. There is a wide variety of classes, for youngsters and adults across many aspects of martial arts. Helton is both a high level competitor and coach. This enables him to bring a different level of energy and understanding to his lessons. Koning has a very welcoming family feel to it. I've been training with Koning fight academy just shy of a year. It was all new to me when I first started but immediately became a way of life. I joined for the fitness aspect and stayed for the comradery of the group, Helton as a coach, the disciplined mindset and most of all the smile on my face when I leave every single training session. I feel honoured to be apart of this academy and will see it through until my final days.
