Kobukan Karate Club

A good, long established karate club. Excellent venue for Karate, nice wooden floor, and post-training social facility. (shame about the men's changing room though 🤭😵‍💫).

A fantastic, supportive and inspiring group of professionals to learn from. This group taught me the true meaning of Karate.

This is a brilliant karate club. I trained with them on Zoom throughout all of the covid lockdowns. I’ve also trained with them in person: I first visited their dojo after a break from karate and felt a bit self-conscious. But everyone at the club was so very welcoming. The quality of teaching is brilliant. Highly recommended.

Both the teachers and the students at this karate club have always made me feel most welcomed. The technical teaching quality of the instructors are excellent. The etiquette of the club is second to none. They regularly invite senior guest instructors from the head of the association as well as from Japan to further enrich our experience. This has been my club now for 5 years. I immediately felt at home because it's a very welcoming environment with high quality karate. It's keeping me challenged and after COVID you really start understand what value it is to have a good club. It is adults only.
