Knotty Hill Golf Centre

This place has gone back over the last couple of years. It used to be the place to go to sort your game, but unfortunately not anymore. The place is a dump, the practice facilities are a disgrace and need some attention. The practice balls need replacing and most of the mats in the bays have rips in them. The chipping/putting greens hadn’t seen any greens staff for months. The grass was 6” long at the practice area at the bottom of the field. Never played any of the courses so cannot comment ...

Just used the driving range to keep the swing going. A good driving range with plenty to aim at with good yardage markers. In my apinion practice balls could be updated, that's why I only got £2 worth and hit some of my own practice balls.

Pleasant staff, plenty of 9 and 18 hole options, driving range is decent, some of the mats could do with replacing and more rubber tees. But overall great place for golfers of all experiences.

5 of us went on a Sunday and played 18 holes, we loved every minute of it. You're allowed to wear football boots as long as there are no metal studs. Half way around the course there is also a marquee with seating so you can kick back and have some food and drinks. We didn't take anything to eat with us so headed into the lounge to grab sandwiches, drinks etc - which were very reasonably priced - and returned to the course to sit and enjoy the weather before our final round. 'A' course is great, 'B' is a little more open but is wetter and straighter. C has some good holes like the par 3 but a lot of it looks like they change the tee boxes and green around so is quite confusing. D, only played 3 holes of it but definitely going back to do D, looks great. Fairways and greens excellent, very large great condition greens, appears drier of the three courses(BCD).
