I was a visitor this evening and was very warmly welcomed and made to feel "one of the family". First class! Thank you.

The situation of this Bowls Club could not be better. A lovely location of the edge of Melbourne/Kings Newton with a terrific green surrounded by trees. A great place just to sit on a bench on a Sunday morning when the sun is shining. A better place to sit on a Sunday afternoon when the bar is open and you can enjoy a great beer. And if you actually want to play bowls, that is possible too. But in my mind the beer and location comes first!

This is a friendly club with lovely people and great real ale. The green is one of the best and the surrounding gardens are beautiful. I have never been made more welcome than the first time I went there. They open every Sunday afternoon during the summer from 1 pm until 5 pm and make everyone welcome.
