King James VI Golf Club, Perth

We've been there for a 9 holes round. Amazing court, in a very original context (never played on a fluvial island before), really amusing. Robert, from the pro-shop is the most polite and nice person one can meet! 5 stars full deserved.

Had a great day at king james. Was superb. Staff were amazing. Was a bit of a walk to get to club house. You need to park down by the river then walk up over by the railway track. Well worth the effort thou. Really enjoyed it.

Unique course, on an island in the River Tay in the centre of Perth and accessible only on foot. Members were very welcoming and the course was quite quiet on a Tuesday morning. Some nice holes and in good condition. My only slight disappointment was the surrounding trees limited the views across the river ( but I played well so perhaps they helped to prevent distraction!).

What a place ! Stunning golf course definitely play if you get a chance. Mad that the club house is on an island and you need to park your car in a local car park and walk over a bridge to gain access to the course.. but its worth the walk ! Cheers for having me n my bro on the open day 👌👍⛳

Very basic course. Not the most convenient course to play as you must walk quite a distance from the main road over a railway bridge. The course conditions are great in the summer when it's dry. Possible flooding when heavy rain as the river tide usually creeps up over the back 9. Staff are great and the bar is just what you need after 18 holes.
