No words to describe the vibes and the energy of this hub and their hosts. From yoga and sound bath sessions, to full on energy drumming rehearsals. They offer activities for everybody in our community and you feel part of a big family right from the moment you step in. A vibrant place that adds great value to this community.

Katumba is a great community of people enjoying samba drumming. A real family atmosphere and no prior experience of drumming necessary. Experienced, enthusiastic teachers guide you from whatever skill level you have to being able to perform at parades and festivals all over the country, even international opportunities. I joined katumba samba band approximately 12 months ago, we use this space for our rehearsals & a wide range of community activities which are available regularly for the local community to participate in. The team are warm, welcoming & friendly. The band includes people from a wide range of backgrounds, ages and cultures. I have enjoyed every minute and would thoroughly recommend katumba and the culture hub at the John Archer centre.
