About K9 Psychology
How well you train and socialize your new puppy in its first few weeks sets the stage for its success in the years to come. Working with a new puppy is a full-time job, so I have made it mine! I have been raising foster puppies for 9 years and have had hundreds of dogs come through my door. Animal welfare is my passion and while working with multiple rescues and shelters, I noticed how many dogs were surrendered by their owners due to basic behavioral issues. Many such issues, like potty-training, crate-training, and socialization, can be solved with time, effort, and the guidance of an experienced trainer before becoming the type of problem that strains the relationship between puppy and owner. The goal of Puppy Preparatory School is to set puppies up for success in their new homes and help prevent negative behaviors in the future.
