I was self-taught for 20+ years before having the fortune to find Jon as a teacher, now I’m finally moving towards becoming the guitarist I always wanted to be. Lessons are helpful, clear and paced to match your level or mood of the day. He’s responsive to any enquiries in terms of style or technique and will change the lesson plan on a dime to answer your curiosity. Atmosphere is always relaxed, welcoming, friendly and understanding. If you need someone to get you playing, keep you playing o...

I’m really happy & surprised what I’ve achieved after only a few lessons with Jon. His relaxed manner lets you forget he’s actually teaching you and trying to master tunes that you want to play is a masterstroke I would definitely recommend Jon

I have been having lessons with Jon for nearly a year now, and as somebody who spends money nearly each month on guitar gear by far the best thing I spend my money are Jon's lessons. Jon's lessons are always fun and leave me excited to keep playing for the rest of the day. Jon has helped me develop my skills and knowledge in ways I could only have dreamt about.

Been having lessons with Jon for a few months now and I'm very impressed with everything about Jon. He is technically brilliant, so knowledgeable with music theory and really friendly to be with, making each lesson very relaxed and enjoyable. Jon has a passion for his guitars (and his pets) and the music he plays, he is inspiring and is encouraging me to achieve my goals in my guitar adventure.

I’m Jon’s brother so you might think I’m biased - well OK I am. Jon is the most gifted guitarist I’ve ever known. No matter what you want to work on, he can help - a lot. He’s patient, encouraging and a pleasure to work with on your guitar journey.
