Non existent technical support, they deactivated my account for NO reason at all (I have only sent messages to friends and people I already know, with no links or anything inappropriate). The ticketing system is so slow. I sent a reactivation request, I send a direct request, I posted on Twitter, I DMed them but NO response. A big disappoinment!

Organizer was abusive with hate speech and no effective way to report it. No response from Meetup so far. no customer service

I’ve been on this platform for over a decade and had previously never experienced any problems. But all of a sudden last week, Meetup decided to randomly disable my account because I was “sending too many spam messages”. The “spam messages” in question contained a link that the recipient had asked me to send her and this link had apparently triggered Meetup’s overactive spam filters, preventing the message from being sent in the first place.
