Jim's outstanding teaching quality and impeccable attention to detail has helped me go from Grade 1 Drumming to Grade 6 in three years. His constant cheery attitude and ability to explain things in many different ways makes our lessons interesting, exciting, enjoyable and entertaining. Each week I learn at least one new skill and Jim ensures I'm well equipped with all the knowledge I need before taking an exam. I can't thank him enough for all his hard work and dedication so far.

Jim has been both an incredible teacher and role model for me the years he taught me. He has enabled me to express myself through music and as a young student, provided support and structure to every week. On lesson Jim is always professional and prepared to tackle the hardest levels of practical drumming. He is a fantastic drummer and after countless lessons I have never had a negative experience.

Jim has been teaching our son drumming since he was seven years old. He's now thirteen and about to take his grade 4 drum exam. Jim has helped him to achieve a distinction at every grade so far. Jim's approach is tailored to our son, flexible to his needs and carried out with a sense of humour. Jim has always given us great advice about drumming equipment too. We are very pleased that we found Jim to teach our son, long may it continue.

Through patience, perseverance and sometimes just being quiet and waiting he has gained my son's trust. After 12 months Ru chats away to Jim like a member of the family and as for drumming... He's flying!! He did 3...
