Jay Butler Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

This academy is the main reason why I am still doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Jay’s passion and enthusiasm for Jiu Jitsu, as well as the expert teaching from all the coaches here made me really appreciate and be better at the sport. You could not be in better hands, highly recommend for anyone new to the sport, the environment is always friendly and social.

You could write an entire essay about the things Jay Butler BJJ does well, the phenomenal coaches, the value for money, the amount of classes, the events they organise, the atmosphere at the gym and even the other students themselves are friendly and helpful. However I think the most valuable thing about Jay Butler BJJ is that, without fail, you will always leave the gym feeling better than you did when you entered.

Couldn’t ask for a better club and coach. Jay’s care for all his students is evident no matter what level they’re at. There’s always a deep emphasis on attention to detail to help us achieve our BJJ goals. If you are looking to join a club which holds kindness and respect at its core- this is the place for you. Whether it’s your first day trying Jiu-Jitsu, or you’re a seasoned vet, you will instantly feel a part of the team from the day you sign up.

Been coached by Jay for 10 years now. Great competitor, coach and friend. Top class academy, that is kept spotlessly clean, great team spirit and energy, with a range of coaches all with different games and ways of teaching. Best place to train in the area by a mile
