I can only think of good things to say about James as a driving instructor. He was always friendly, went through things in detail, and he made driving fun. He pushed me to be a confident & independent driver, and covered driving skills in an order that made them easy to learn. He prepared me well for the driving exam so i knew exactly what to expect & felt comfortable when it came to doing it. Very comfortable taking lessons with James Burton as friendly and straightforward especially to the most important point in driving and following rules. He will let you know what needed to be done and technically driving safety hazards to other road users and road signs etc… last of all, just want to say without James Burton I will not pass the test in less than 2 months (NOT A SINGLE MINOR FAULT) and this is the best Christmas Presents ever!!! I really enjoyed having James as a driving instructor. After working with James I passed my test, which I hadn’t with a previous instructor. He is patient, kind, and positively provides constructive criticism so that you can improve. He also sent me videos which helped aid my learning alongside the lessons. I needed a refresher lesson after several years without a car, and James was kindly able to fit me in at short notice. He took the time to assess my needs over the phone, and designed a lesson that covered all the main areas I needed over 2 hours. His approach is calm and friendly, and I quickly felt my confidence returning as we drove around.
