Jake has been teaching my daughter for the last 5 months or so leading up to her GCSE Latin which she chose as an additional subject at school and hadn't been feeling very confident with. Jake was particularly helpful in identifying and then teaching gaps in her knowledge, giving clear explanations and contextualising with his excellent knowledge of Roman history. Her confidence is now greatly improved, thank you Jake!

Jake teaches Latin (as well as singing) and my son has had six years of tuition, latterly via SKYPE. This was totally self-motivated and he has really enjoyed the experience, now sitting the GCSE qualification. I highly recommend Jake for his professionalism, enthusiasm and subject expertise, apart from which he is a really nice person!

Been learning with Jake for a couple of months now and I’ve noticed a definite improvement in my singing. I sing in an indie band, and I would definitely recommend Jake for any genre, any type of singing and any age. What’s really great is he translates singing technique into really easy to understand terms, which makes it much easier to put into practice.

Jake is a fantastic teacher, I knew nothing about singing at all before I started, but now I have learn’t very useful and important techniques to improve and use my voice correctly. I would highly recommend him to anyone, no matter what age the student is as Jake is very friendly, with has a very calm teaching style. Jakes prices are very competitive too, and he should definitely be a new students first choice

Jake has been teaching my daughter Latin for four months and she has made remarkable progress. (I turned to Jake as her school does not provide Latin lessons.) He is now preparing her for her GCSE next May. Jake is a brilliant teacher, he is extremely knowledgeable and explains the language in great detail - he makes the subject very interesting and relevant to today's modern world. My daughter would now like to continue to study Latin to 'A' Level under his tutorship.
