I've played a number of Martial Arts over the years, always for fun of course, and I can honestly say that Krav Maga is great fun! It is a pretty effective art, efficiently taught with scenario reinforcement and is accessible to pretty much anyone. I can thoroughly recommend Krav Maga to anyone who wants to learn self defence. I have been with this club for the last 7 years and enjoy every class. The instructors are welcoming and supportive, helping you learn the techniques and put them in to practice in a safe environment. As an older participant (51) I was a little apprehensive about starting a self defence class, especially as I am not a fan of gyms and I'm not the fittest of people. I started training in January as a New Years resolution, to get back in shape following a long lay-off from the gym due to injury. I had read about Krav Maga and wanted to try it for some time, but was initially sceptical of the polished, franchised look of the KMG operation. The Best and the Most useful martial art I tried so far! Why? Firstly it teaches you how to defend yourself and your loved ones! Secondly the people you meet at classes are awesome! Thirdly Krav Maga makes you stronger physically and mentally! I do highly recommended to try it!
