After notification from Ideal boilers that my new combi-boiler was identified with a potential safety issue and needed modification I was appalled with the customer service received whilst trying to arrange an appointment for their engineer to visit and fit safety upgrade. Meanwhile my boiler had broken down! The Ideal Cus svce team were dishonest and unhelpful for 2 weeks causing me inconvenience and anxiety. I strongly recommend anyone buying a new boiler to avoid an 'Ideal' boiler.

Zero stars. Boiler installed Aug 2019 by, I assume, an 'accredited engineer' at a cost of £2,000. We kept up with the annual service so as not to invalidate the warranty as this was a "no brainer". Problem with the boiler Nov 2022, pressure dropping. Ideal employee changed a valve Feb 2023. Boiler still not fixed. We contacted Ideal again and were lied to by the 'office junior' "the warranty isn't valid as the boiler is near electrics and near a sink" and given an email address to complain to...

Terrible service. I had to chase YourRepair and Ideal heating for over a week. No one phoned me to let me know what was happening with my boiler repair. I have a child with a disability. I had no boiler at all for 3 weeks, no heating or hot water having to use my immersion. I had to chase it up over and over again to be told by YourRepair that the repair I actually need is not covered in my policy. I needed to get it repaired privately. I would have appreciated being told this information soo...

They change the warranty conditions without notifying the end user. Eight years in and the heat exchanger fails (a common problem). Only one year out of full warranty but still two years inside the ten year heat exchanger warranty. Will not even supply the part as they changed the installation specifications three years after my unit was fitted. This rendered my warranty useless. Totally dishonest and untrustworthy brand. I'm now having my complete boiler replaced to another brand for p...

Disappointed with iDeal service. Bought a new build with iDeal boiler installed and less than a year later pump failed. Contacted iDeal but they stated I will have to pay £89 for a check. Not only quality is poor but they're charging money to fix new faulty boilers.

Booked a repair on my Ideal Boiler through this company, they took £335 from me for a fixed price repair but had very little interest in finding out what was wrong with my boiler over the phone. When the engineer turned up, he didn't have all the required parts, but he said he'd get onto his department to order the parts and they should be back next week to finish the repair. The call centre then called up and said they had decided not to carry out the repair because it would cost them to m...
