Ian West School Of Drums

My 11 yr old son had his first session with Ian at the weekend. Was a great experience for him and he really loved it. Ian is very patient in the teaching, and has great knowledge ...look forward to the next lesson. Would definitely recommend. Thanks Ian.

Our daughter Emily has been a student with the School for a couple of years now. She’s 18 years old with special needs and associated physical disabilities. Through inclusion and accessing the lessons with the help and encourage from Ian and Brad, Emily’s concentration and coordination have significantly improved. She really looks forward to her lessons too as it’s given her a social outlet where as in the past she was totally isolated. We cannot recommend the school highly enough.

My son has been having lessons with Ian for 7 years now and he absolutely loves it! Ian is the most genuine guy and so easy to get on with. Ian West has been around since the age of dinosaurs. He is the most genuine thoughtful guy and really down to earth. Ian taught me to play drums from the age of 6yrs old. Nearly 28 years ago. He is very kind and is always willing to help his students. He is a lifelong friend and is the best drummer that I have ever known personally. He's up there with the greats. Absolutely amazing drum school. My boy loves it!!! Brad his teacher is fantastic and has patience of a saint! Lol. My son's confidence as a person has grown massively since learning to play drums and has even passed his level 2 exam after playing only 5 months. I can not recommend this drum school enough. ❤❤
