A real gem of a course and how I imagine courses were in the early days of golf, a person battling the natural contours of the land, and steering round grazing live stock! Felt very much like an inland links, every hole offered a very different challenge and even though it was the depths of winter, well drained and all playable. Members very friendly on the course and clubhouse. Had a late large breakfast after the round and was amazing, topping a great day off work. Will definitely be back ...

It was OK. Some very quirky holes. A bit like a links course although it's nowhere near the coast. Greens patchy and some of the fairways run very close together so you need to watch out for errant shots coming the other way.

What gem this has everything 3 holes are parkland (4th, 5th & 6th I think) rest all links type tough if the winds blowing back 9 is really challenging beware of sheep sh#t & sheep greens are very fast & true fairways nice & wide couple of holes are over roads & tracks which can be abit daunting especially the 18th can't wait to play again 20miles travelling was well worth it amazing
