Probably the worst course in Sussex; the course was awful when I played it the greens, fairways, rough and tee box's were just in appalling condition. The only things that you say that is a positive is that it's a cheap course so great way for beginners to learn on but you can see why it's a cheap course as the condition it is in. The views are nice on the course and the car park is good so lots of room.

The best views in Brighton and a great place to walk your dog and today I discovered the Club House bar/cafe open to non members.

Really enjoyed playing Hollingbury Park during a recent visit to Brighton. The Pro Shop staff was very helpful in reviewing the course and arranging left handed club rentals. Despite the extremely dry and hot conditions the greens were in good shape.

Good basic food, presented and served well. Attended an event in their upstairs events room which had beautiful views out. Staff could not be more helpful. There is a lift for access to the first floor. All toilets on the ground floor.

A good long established downland course. Apart from a couple of greens that do hold water for a few hours after heavy rain, it rarely gets too wet to play. It can get quite windy on top of the hills but the spectacular views make this a pleasant course to play throughout the year. The new leaseholders have spent a lot of time on the course and continue to make improvements
