I finally got to play Highgate after winning a voucher at a charity golf day at my own club. Really worth the wait as was really impressed. Four of us played and had the best stableford comp we'd played for a while, all scoring really well. The course was in brilliant condition especially in comparison to the courses I've played recently that are struggling with keeping the fairways green with the heat and lack of rain. A wonderful gem of a golf course! I played Highgate a week ago and I was very impressed with the condition it was in. Greens, areas around the greens, approaches, tees all immaculate. My home course could learn alot from this place! Hundreds of mature oaks frame most holes, those and the course's many undulations make it an interesting and intriguing golf course.
