Henleaze Lawn Tennis Club Ltd

I’ve been a member for a few years now, and find everyone extremely welcoming. The age ranges from young teens to over 70. The standard is equally diverse from beginner to brilliant. The social doubles is really nice, and I’ve met a great group of singles players to arrange games with, both during lunch breaks and evenings. The coaching is superb too, and my game has really improved as a result.

Come and join us… I have been a member of this great club for a few years now. It is very friendly and will always try to make every person, young and old, feel at home. Besides the tennis on 4 nice all weather courts (one with flood lights) there is a club house where, if worn out from tennis, people can relax, sit down, have a drink and chat to others. It's great.

I joined Henleaze after the first Lockdown and this was one of the best (Tennis) decisions I made. I was welcomed into the club by everyone who I met straight away and was directed to the relevant players to compete against to match my ability and the relevant league captains who put me in the relevant team to challenge me. I joined the club about a year ago and was happy to find its members to be very welcoming and friendly. Since then I have participated in its regular, well organised club sessions as well as taking advantage of its excellent, extensive coaching programme, to improve my doubles strategy skills and singles playing skills. I've been a member of several tennis clubs and Henleaze is the friendliest, most welcoming club I've joined. There are club sessions to suit all standards of play and an excellent coaching program. The club enters teams in the local leagues so it is possible to play a high standard of tennis all year round. In addition, there are several social events throughout the year where you can mix and meet with other members.
